I am currently collaborating with book writer Dee LaDuke and composer Joseph Baker on a full-length original musical about the lives, influence, and rivalry of late 19th century actresses, Sarah Bernhardt and Eleanora Duse. We expect to have a reading Fall 2022.
The amazing Myrna Conn and I have been working with Disney Theatrical Group to adapt Disney Pixar's beloved "Finding Nemo" into a 60 minute version for Jr actors and a 30 minute version for kids! Our adaptation features incredible songs by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez. Finding Nemo Jr and Finding Nemo Kids will be available for licensing through MTI in January 2021.
In February, 2020 we traveled to Nashville, TN to record tracks for the project at Dan Rudin Recording and Production Studio with the brilliant, Dan Rudin and an incredible group of professional musicians and young actors.
Myrna did an amazing job conducting her original orchestrations.

A Never Ending Line is now available for pre-order at Broadway Records. The album features a star studded cast of Broadway performers including Arielle Jacobs and Betsy Wolfe who are the incredible voices on the tracks penned by myself and composer, Jaime Lozano. The album purchases will benefit Maestra Music Inc. An organization that gives support, visibility, and community to the women who make the music in the musical theater industry. Maestra aims to promote equality of opportunity and to address the many historical disadvantages and practices that have limited women composers and musicians in the musical theater.
In Summer 2019, I rejoined collaborative forces with Cassidy Dermott and Ben Diskant to create "The Game Room". This delightful children's musical was produced in December 2019 by Brooklyn Children's Theatre as part of their Mainstage production, and will be performed again by the talented kids in BCT's PS 230 program in January 2020.
What is cuter than kids in koala costumes? Nothing! Which is exactly why writer, actress and teaching artist Cassidy Dermott and I co-wrote the adorable children's show "Down Unda Rescue Sanctuary" with composer Ben Diskant. The show was written for Brooklyn Children's Theatre and performed in December 2018. Cuteness overload.
The lovely and talented composer Ben Diskant and I received BMI's Jean Banks Award in June, 2018 for our original ten minute musical, "One Swipe Away". Check out the video below!
In Spring 2018, Mryna Conn and I presented songs for the BMI Musical Theater Writing Workshop from our adaptation of "Coraline", based on the novella by Neil Gaiman and the stop-motion animated film directed by Henry Selick. We hope to pursue the project further. Stay tuned!
